Technology Is Changing The Way We Learn Essay - 883 Words
Technology is changing the way we learn because of immediate access to information from Internet. This has changed the way we live, work, play and it is challenging in the way we think. Technology has made the most complex problems simple in a matter of seconds. When I was a child, I would go to the library to do research for school projects, this is now a thing of the past. Advancements in technology have made it possible for children from all over the world have a vast amount of knowledge right at their fingertips. There are very few places in the world that technology like this do not exist. This has really piqued my curiosity. How did we arrive to this point? Even in our daily routine, we cannot function without the use of such devices as the smart phone, the computer, or a number of other devices. These devices help us carry out our daily task with the greatest of ease. As an educator this has also made me wonder, how can technology be useful in my instruction to young advanced individual training students that have just joined the Army? How can this technology be used to help my 18 month old daughter develop? Prepare her for school? Prepare her for life? We live in world that is motivated by change and evolution.
